Our History
Our roots run deep—and our direction is forward
Pla-Mek® was born out of curiosity in Stranda in 1991, in a small factory with old machines and big ambitions.
What started with one injection moulding machine and a desire to create has grown into a high-tech manufacturing company in the heart of Sykkylven.
Sykkylven has always been a place where hands and minds work together.
From proud craft traditions to innovative industrial processes, the region has evolved into a technological hub—and we’ve grown with it.
Today, we use robots and advanced production cells, but our values remain the same as when we started: proximity, creativity, and execution.
